4Life President Attends 2011 WFDSA CEO Council Meeting

Earlier this week, 4Life President Steve Tew attended the World Federation of Direct Selling Associations (WFDSA) Regional Conference in Istanbul, Turkey. The conference theme, “East Meets West,” brought together experts from government, consumer groups, academia, and the global direct selling industry. While in Instanbul, Tew also attended the WFDSA CEO Council meeting.

The WFDSA is a non-governmental organization that represents the direct selling industry as a federation of national Direct Selling Associations. Membership consists of 58 national Direct Selling Associations and one regional federation, the Federation of European Direct Selling Associations.
4Life is good-standing member in over a dozen Direct Selling Associations (DSA) around the world, including the United States, Australia, New Zealand, India, South Korea, Philippines, Colombia, Taiwan, Ecuador, Mexico, Thailand, Chile, and Spain.

As a company in the top 100 global companies in the direct selling industry (Direct Selling News Global 100) and a long-time member of the DSA, 4Life pledges to follow the DSA’s ethical business practices as set forth in the Code of Ethics. The DSA’s mission strives to “protect, serve, and promote the effectiveness of member companies and the independent business people they represent.”

President Steve Tew: “Our participation on the WFDSA CEO council gives us a voice to support 4Life’s worldwide independent distributors in matters important to direct-sellers everywhere. Needless to say, our place at the table is made possible by our distributor leadership in the field.”
