OBITUARY
Bonnie Roberta Taylor, 81, of Clovis, California, passed away Monday, October 2, 2023.
This truly wonderful and great woman was born to amazing parents, the late William and Anita (Junita) Taylor on December 3, 1941, in Oakland/Alameda, California. Bonnie graduated as the Class of 1959 from Castlemont High School. She had been the President of the Sorority, THETA OMEGA CHI. She was first married to the late Frederick L. Kuhn on August 28, 1960 and was blessed with her first child, her Daughter, Kristan Lynn Kuhn on January 4, 1961.
In the first years of the Vietnam War, Bonnie’s first marriage ended, and moving forward she met Dennis Miller, who would become the Father of her second child, her son, Kurt Anthony Kuhn, born on August 12, 1966. Dennis went to Vietnam in the Army, where he was listed soon after as MIA. After a year, Bonnie began her second marriage to a man named Bill Paiva. After a few years, with the dissolution of her marriage to Bill, Bonnie became involved in business. She rose the ranks of Boise Cascade to be an assistant to a Vice President of that company. In the early 1970’s, she would meet the very noted Actor, Singer and Entertainer, Michael Wren, who she would marry in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park on July 25, 1976. This would be her longest marriage, providing a wonderful Father figure in her children’s lives, and of which would end in the mid 1980’s. Bonnie then managed her Fathers business, Taylor Made Dryers. In the Early 1980’s she became involved with the Direct Selling Company by the name of Herbalife, where she rose through their Ranks quickly, then also bringing in her son, Kurt Kuhn, while he was still in High School. She began to teach Kurt the finer points of Direct Selling from this time forward.
Bonnie was involved in several noted Direct Selling companies, where she quickly rose in their ranks, and even wrote some of the compensation and marketing plans.
In the early 1990’s, Bonnie’s Parents, William and Anita Taylor, both began showing signs of age and illness. Having accrued a small fortune in business at that time, she ceased working in order to take care of her parents in their final days. She gave up all she had to be with her Parents during their final years, and with their passing, she began again.
In 1998, Bonnie Taylor would begin business in Direct Selling once more, becoming involved with a newly formed company, named 4Life Research. She would again enlist her Son to join the new adventure, and she again saw great success, rising through the ranks and becoming 4Life’s third Platinum International Diamond, as well as the first Woman to do so. She had opened the first International expanse of 4Life Research with the country of Japan, and her advancements and notability continued. She and her Family were featured in the Magazine, Success from Home. She would continue to thrive, traveling the world and positively changing lives as she did so, including with her own Family.
Bonnie would become the Founder of Team Bond International, which was made of all the teams in her business that encompassed the world. These teams, under the Team Bond International Umbrella, would work together to attain the amazing results that everyone hoped for. This became Bonnie’s true Calling in life, to help others attain their dream.
On August 12, 2012, Bonnie and her son, Kurt Kuhn, would be Baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She would continue to do service for all peoples she came in contact with, and even those she wasn’t able to meet in person. On April 25, 2014 Bonnie’s Daughter, Emmy Winner, Screenwriter and Director, Kristan Kuhn would unexpectedly pass away. As difficult as that was, Bonnie knew that she would see her again, and pressed forward in helping others achieve their dream.
Bonnie ultimately retired from her great works, yet always kept one foot in the door of business. Upon her retirement, she left her company, Bonnie Taylor Incorporated, to her son, Kurt Kuhn, who was already the President of BTI, and owner of his own company, Kuhn Global Incorporated. Kurt and his Family attribute much of their amazing lives to what Bonnie Taylor built in Team Bond International, which each of them are very much a part of.
Bonnie enjoyed every second of her life, especially with her Family, and her Team Bond International Family within 4Life. She served them all to the very moment she passed away, unexpectedly, and peacefully in the early morning hours of October 2, 2023.Bonnie’s Legacy continues, as she is survived by not only her Family, but her Team Bond Family as well. She is survived by her Son and Daughter-in-law, Kurt and Melanie Kuhn, as well as their Children, Bonnie’s Granddaughters and Grandson-in-law, Rick and Paige Sigmen, and Madison Kuhn. She is also survived by her Great Grandchildren, who are born of Rick and Paige Sigmen, Anthony and Kaylynn Sigmen.
We love you, Noni. Your Legacy lives on within is us all.
